New Years Resolution

One of the things I look forward to every Christmas season is the cards we get from our patients. We will get dozens of them every year. Each one is very special to me. They all will generally have pictures of the cutest babies and happy families. Some of the children are now teenagers! I cherish the best wishes and Christmas cheer. The cards also remind me of a very important fact – we have made a difference in peoples lives.

Reproductive medicine is a very special field. We help our patients fulfill a very basic need – to have a family. Some of our patients have been trying for years. Others have been to several fertility clinics before getting pregnant at InVia.

Reproductive Medicine also is about teamwork. InVia’s success is due to the fact that all of us work together as a team, each one excelling in what he or she does. This includes the front desk person that makes appointments, the nursing crew, ultrasound technicians, embryology, administration and of course the physicians. Every team member needs to perform his or her job flawlessly for the “magic” to work. After all a chain is only as strong as its weakest link!

This is also the time of the year when we make resolutions. This year once again, I would like to repeat what I have been saying for many years. To our patients who are pregnant or have babies – Congratulations! We are grateful for having had the opportunity to serve you. To our current and future patients, I would like to make this resolution on behalf of the staff and myself – we will continue to do our absolute best to help you achieve your dream of having a baby!
