Lisa M. Shandley, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist who joined InVia Fertility in September, 2024. She graduated cum laude from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, then matriculated at Emory University in Atlanta for her M.D, OB/GYN residency and REI fellowship.
Her clinical and research interests include in vitro fertilization, fertility preservation, assisted reproductive technology surveillance and epidemiology, oncofertility, and fertility care for medically complex patients.
Dr. Shandley’s is motivated most by her patients’ stories and experiences. Fertility care is unique in that each person has such a different journey that they have undergone before they even make it to my office. “I am highly motivated to understand that personal journey and educate patients about their reproductive options,” she said. “Because each person’s journey is unique, I strive to personalize care and to make sure patients feel their concerns are heard and their questions are answered.”
Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Shandley is excited to return home, be close to her large extended family, and give back to this amazing community. She’s loves to travel with her husband – they have visited 6 of the 7 continents together! When not working or traveling, Dr. Shandley enjoys reading, hiking, exploring new restaurants, practicing the banjo, and trying new activities (her latest undertaking is to learn how to golf).
