Happy Holidays from InVia Fertility Specialists

What do the holidays mean to us at InVia Fertility Specialists? To be honest – and hopefully not too sentimental – they mean an extra smile in our office for someone who we know needs it. They mean an open ear to those who need someone to listen. They mean friendship developed not because of a gift or a material item, but just from the desire to be friends and to be someone you can depend on. The holidays to us mean family.

At this time of year we receive many pictures of previous patients with their children—check them out on our Facebook page. We love these pictures. Each time we receive one, we feel so privileged to know we played a part in the happiness of that picture, even a small part.

The holidays to us mean random, selfless acts of kindness. Shoveling the driveway for a neighbor while they’re out. Donuts left by the front door of a friend. A phone call to the relative who you know is alone on a special day. A visit to the nursing home where an elderly person is alone. All of these, done without payback, show what the true meaning of the holidays is.
